Jennifer Wheelock is a writer, visual artist, and animal lover who lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She began painting pets after starting a pet-walking and boarding business.

"It was my way of capturing the wildly different and endearing personalities of the animals I care for. Also, I always hate to see them go home, so the paintings mean they sort of stay with me."
